About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build, develop, and maintain relationships with commercial property owners, property managers, facility managers, general contractors, insurance professionals, REITs, and other decision-makers
  • Generate new commercial roofing opportunities through networking, referrals, prospecting, and relationship development
  • Evaluate customer needs and help develop appropriate commercial roofing solutions
  • Lead the sales process from the initial opportunity through proposal, negotiation, and contract award
  • Manage commercial roofing projects from the sale through final completion and closeout
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and other project stakeholders
  • Coordinate with estimators, operations personnel, crews, subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors
  • Monitor project budgets, schedules, documentation, change orders, and overall profitability
  • Help ensure projects meet Farha Roofing's standards for safety, workmanship, quality, and customer service
  • Maintain consistent communication with clients and identify opportunities for repeat business and long-term account growth

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least five years of commercial low-slope roofing experience
  • Successful record in commercial roofing sales, business development, project management, or a comparable client-facing leadership role
  • Established professional network in the St. Louis commercial property or construction market strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of commercial roofing customers and markets, including property management, facility management, commercial real estate, insurance, general contracting, and REITs
  • Ability to develop new business while managing operational and financial details of awarded projects
  • Strong understanding of commercial roofing systems, estimating considerations, project scopes, and field operations
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, organization, and follow-through
  • Ability to build trust with senior decision-makers and maintain long-term client relationships
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to safely access commercial rooftops
