About the role

  • Grow our F1 business in the Netherlands by overseeing and enhancing e-commerce operations.
  • Own the trading and marketing calendars, manage daily operations, and execute strategic initiatives to achieve business objectives.
  • Oversee daily eCommerce operations and trading including content management, product launch execution, site merchandising and promotional management; ensure processes run efficiently and effectively.
  • Implement eCommerce strategies and initiatives to drive traffic, increase conversions, and maximise online sales; collaborate with the E-Commerce Director.
  • Monitor and analyse KPIs such as conversion rates, average order value, and customer retention; use data-driven insights to optimise performance.
  • Ensure a superior online shopping experience by managing website functionality, user interface, and product presentation; address customer feedback and resolve issues promptly.
  • Work closely with marketing, merchandising, technology, operations and customer support to coordinate promotions, product launches, and site improvements.
  • Lead and manage e-commerce projects including site updates, technology enhancements, and promotional campaigns; ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Conduct market research to stay current with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies and apply insights to improve strategies.
  • Act as primary point of contact for day-to-day eCommerce operations with partners and develop coordinated trading plans and marketing calendars to grow the business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, eCommerce, or a related field; Advanced degree is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in e-commerce management or a related field, with a proven track record of driving online sales and managing e-commerce operations.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and developing teams.
  • Proficiency in e-commerce platforms, web analytics tools, and digital marketing strategies.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong project management abilities, with experience in overseeing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments and with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in the sports or retail industry is advantageous.
