About the role
- Manage the VIP hospitality & events team and own the VIP hospitality & events budget and portfolio, managing allocation, sourcing, and ROI across hospitality assets and activations.
- Own the execution of high-touch VIP events and hospitality programs from start to finish, to include ideation, planning, execution and post-event summarization.
- Effectively communicate event updates, pace reporting, and all pertinent details to the entire VIP team to ensure event fulfillment.
- Oversee the management of Fanatics’ hospitality assets, including suites, season tickets, and other premium activations, ensuring efficient use and seamless customer experiences.
- Partner with the Fanatics Events team and the Brand Experiences to support the specific VIP customer experience at major tentpole events (e.g., Fanatics Fest, Super Bowl).
- Support the Fanatics ONE loyalty program by designing and delivering exclusive member experiences that will be listed and delivered as a loyalty benefit.
- Scale athlete-driven experiences, working closely with athlete relations and talent teams across Fanatics to source and activate unique athlete engagements that reinforce Fanatics’ differentiated access.
- Collaborate with partnerships teams to maintain vendor, agency, and venue relationships, including stadiums, arenas, and event partners, to secure best-in-class offerings and efficiencies.
- Partner cross-functionally with Partnerships, Brand, Creative, Marketing, and Athlete Relations to integrate experiences into the broader Fanatics ecosystem.
- Represent VIP Hospitality & Events to executive leadership, reporting on budget, portfolio performance, and strategic priorities.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in VIP customer relations, events, experiential marketing, partnerships, or hospitality management
- Strong background in budget ownership, vendor management, and event operations
- Experience sourcing and managing hospitality assets
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Proven leader with experience managing cross-functional teams and external partners
- Excellent project management and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple events, budgets, and timelines
- Exceptional communicator with the ability to inspire stakeholders
- Passion for sports, entertainment, and delivering memorable customer experiences
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Event Management, or related field required; advanced degree a plus.
