Partner with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to translate business objectives into innovative design solutions
Conduct in depth user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gain insights into the behaviors and preferences of sports fans
Develop comprehensive design artifacts such as personas, customer journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups
Iterate on designs based on user feedback, analytics, and A/B testing results to continuously improve the user experience
Design interfaces ensuring every detail contributes to a cohesive and engaging user experience
Champion design thinking and advocating for the user throughout the product development lifecycle
Mentor junior designers, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and excellence within the design team
Requirements
5+ years of experience in UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design process and outcomes, including visually compelling and polished designs
Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field (or equivalent experience) is preferred, but not required
Proficiency in design tools like Figma
Solid understanding of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to effectively collaborate with engineering teams
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and rationale to diverse audiences
Experience in ecommerce or retail design is highly desirable
A genuine passion for sports and an understanding of sports fan culture is a significant plus
