About the role
- Lead research for a major product domain, serving as the primary research advisor
- Own domain-level research programs from concept through launch
- Shape roadmap direction by uncovering actionable insights
- Influence at the strategic level connecting research findings to larger commerce goals
- Design and execute mixed-method research plans using qualitative and quantitative methods
- Partner with senior stakeholders to translate research insights into opportunities
- Mentor other researchers and designers
Requirements
- 6–8+ years of UX or product research experience, ideally within eCommerce, retail, or consumer digital platforms
- Expertise across both generative and evaluative research
- Demonstrated ability to influence product strategy and design decisions at scale
- Experience synthesizing complex data into clear, compelling narratives
- Familiarity with tools such as User Testing, Qualtrics, Optimal Workshop, Figma, Amplitude, and SQL is a plus
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Psychology, Anthropology, or a related field
