About the role
- Work with terabyte-scale data on a daily basis
- Build and improve data processes using programming languages (preferably Scala, Python) and Big Data tools/frameworks
- Improve monitoring and alerting capabilities to ensure data quality
- Manage data consumption and governance for multiple datasets and analyses
- Interact with stakeholders to better understand and validate reports
- Optimize the performance of data models
- Research and develop new methods, tools, and technologies
- Develop SQL queries to extract and organize data from various sources and make it available for data analysts
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or another technical field
- Basic experience generating reports from multiple data sources
- Some experience manipulating, transforming, and analyzing complex, high-volume, high-dimensional data from varied sources
- Strong mathematical and statistical skills
- Demonstrable ability to work in a dynamic environment and meet changing deadlines and priorities across multiple simultaneous projects
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Passionate, self-motivated, and capable of working independently
- Good team player
- Strong passion for gaming
- Advanced English
- Nice to have
- Programming experience for data manipulation and analysis (Python and Scala)
