About the role
- Provides therapeutic interventions both in home and office settings
- Collaborates with team members, schools, families and other professionals to meet each family's specific goals and needs
- Maintain all client case records by documenting client contacts and contacts with the Department of Children's Services, schools, parents, and other professionals
- Develops, revises treatment plans and writes monthly reports to the Department of Children's Services
- Participates in case conferences and court proceedings as necessary for client care
Requirements
- Master's degree in social work, marriage and family therapy or mental health counseling
- 2 years of like social service experience in their respective discipline
- Professional license (LSW, LCSW, LMFTA, LMFT, LMHCA, LMHC) required
- Ability to assess and coordinate treatment needs for complex family systems
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to interact effectively with people from diverse social and economic backgrounds
