About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Partner with practice groups, attorneys, consulting professionals, and clients to identify opportunities for digital tools, automation, and AI-enabled capabilities
  • Design, build, test, and maintain AI agents and AI-assisted workflows for legal processes
  • Translate legal knowledge into scalable digital solutions
  • Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and individual coaching for attorneys and legal consultants
  • Champion AI tools by answering questions, troubleshooting issues, and sharing best practices to drive adoption
  • Develop, test, and maintain a library of optimized prompts for legal workflows
  • Apply prompt engineering best practices and version control
  • Gather user feedback to continuously improve output quality
  • Monitor developments in legal technology and AI
  • Evaluate emerging platforms
  • Contribute to AI governance committees and pilot programs
  • Support special projects and perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
  • Active bar membership in good standing
  • Minimum of five years practicing transactional or litigation law in a law firm, legal services organization, or professional environment
  • Demonstrated interest or practical experience in legal technology, innovation, legal operations, or process improvement
  • Genuine curiosity about how AI and automation can transform legal practice
  • Experience with legal technology platforms such as document automation, knowledge management systems, or workflow automation tools
  • Strong preference for practical experience with Harvey or comparable legal-specific AI platforms
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to translate complex legal and technical concepts for attorneys, engineers, and clients
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to evaluate legal processes and identify operational and technology-enabled improvement opportunities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
  • Ability to balance multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, organize and accurately prioritize work, and exercise sound judgment
  • Ability to handle highly confidential information with discretion
