About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Partner with practice groups, attorneys, consulting professionals, and clients to identify opportunities for digital tools, automation, and AI-enabled capabilities
Design, build, test, and maintain AI agents and AI-assisted workflows for legal processes
Translate legal knowledge into scalable digital solutions
Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and individual coaching for attorneys and legal consultants
Champion AI tools by answering questions, troubleshooting issues, and sharing best practices to drive adoption
Develop, test, and maintain a library of optimized prompts for legal workflows
Apply prompt engineering best practices and version control
Gather user feedback to continuously improve output quality
Monitor developments in legal technology and AI
Evaluate emerging platforms
Contribute to AI governance committees and pilot programs
Support special projects and perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Active bar membership in good standing
Minimum of five years practicing transactional or litigation law in a law firm, legal services organization, or professional environment
Demonstrated interest or practical experience in legal technology, innovation, legal operations, or process improvement
Genuine curiosity about how AI and automation can transform legal practice
Experience with legal technology platforms such as document automation, knowledge management systems, or workflow automation tools
Strong preference for practical experience with Harvey or comparable legal-specific AI platforms
Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
Ability to translate complex legal and technical concepts for attorneys, engineers, and clients
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to evaluate legal processes and identify operational and technology-enabled improvement opportunities
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
Ability to balance multiple initiatives simultaneously
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Ability to work independently, organize and accurately prioritize work, and exercise sound judgment
Ability to handle highly confidential information with discretion
