About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test cases
  • Perform UI testing using modern automation tools such as Playwright
  • Develop and execute API tests using tools like RestAssured
  • Collaborate with Developers, Product Managers and QA team members to understand requirements and define test strategies
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous testing
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in test automation
  • Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with the team to resolve issues
  • Continuously improve test coverage, reliability, and execution speed
  • Identify performance bottlenecks and work with engineering teams to optimize application performance
  • Generate and maintain test reports using Allure or similar reporting tools

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong experience with Java or another object-oriented programming language (Java is a strong plus)
  • Hands-on experience with UI automation frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, or similar
  • Experience in API testing, preferably with RestAssured or equivalent tools
  • Strong understanding of software testing principles and QA methodologies
  • Basic to intermediate understanding of performance testing concepts (load, stress, scalability testing)
  • Experience with test reporting tools, preferably Allure
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar
  • Hands-on experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, Gatling or similar
  • Knowledge of test frameworks like JUnit, TestNG, or similar
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum development processes
  • Familiarity with monitoring/observability tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus)
  • Experience with containerization tools (e.g., Docker)
