About the role
- Build efficient, testable, and reusable backend modules; develop clean, robust, and scalable code
- Design and implement databases to ensure integrity, performance, and security; manage data exchange between server and users
- Streamline data storage solutions and integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Optimize the application for maximum speed and scalability, implementing security and data protection
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues
- Collaborate with frontend developers and other team members to set objectives and design cohesive code to enhance user experience
Requirements
- Proven Backend Development Experience: Proficiency in server-side languages (C# preferred but other languages accepted)
- Familiarity with Database Technology: Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages
- System Architecture Understanding: Ability to design and implement API-based architectures including REST
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to optimize code for performance and scalability
- Effective communication skills; able to explain complex ideas to non-technical team members
- Adaptability to adopt new technologies and frameworks as needed
