About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Comply with FSG safety policies
Install lighting fixtures, lamps, ballast, controls, or other items associated with lighting systems
Work cohesively with crew and crew foreman, understanding assigned tasks
Work safely without damaging or disturbing customer facilities
Work from ladders, scaffolds, aerial lifts, or roofs to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures
Perform physically demanding tasks using basic and specialized tools and equipment throughout the service job/work order process
Travel for up to 10 days, including 2 paid travel days and 8 working days, followed by 4 days off
Work rotating shifts, including 1st, 2nd, or occasionally 3rd shift, according to project requirements
Install lighting products safely and neatly in customer facilities
Provide professional customer service and apply lighting retrofit strategies

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School Diploma or General Education Degree
At least 1+ years of lighting or electrical experience
Valid driver’s license
Willingness to travel
Must be reliable
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Positive customer service skills
Employees must be willing to travel by airline
Must understand and conform to Government/Local regulations and ordinances as well as any/all required Safety Guidelines
