About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Comply with FSG safety policies
- Install lighting fixtures, lamps, ballast, controls, or other items associated with lighting systems
- Work cohesively with crew and crew foreman, understanding assigned tasks
- Work safely without damaging or disturbing customer facilities
- Work from ladders, scaffolds, aerial lifts, or roofs to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures
- Perform physically demanding tasks using basic and specialized tools and equipment throughout the service job/work order process
- Travel for up to 10 days, including 2 paid travel days and 8 working days, followed by 4 days off
- Work rotating shifts, including 1st, 2nd, or occasionally 3rd shift, according to project requirements
- Install lighting products safely and neatly in customer facilities
- Provide professional customer service and apply lighting retrofit strategies
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or General Education Degree
- At least 1+ years of lighting or electrical experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Willingness to travel
- Must be reliable
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Positive customer service skills
- Employees must be willing to travel by airline
- Must understand and conform to Government/Local regulations and ordinances as well as any/all required Safety Guidelines
