About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage all phases of solar project development, including planning, execution, and final delivery
- Develop project timelines, budgets, and forecasts for project cost
- Oversee construction site activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate implementation of project specifications
- Implement system design strategies that meet client requirements while adhering to industry standard
- Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to coordinate project schedules and resources
- Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, Construction Management, or a related field preferred
- Relevant certifications (e.g., NABCEP) are a plus
- 5+ years of proven experience in commercial project management
- Strong understanding of commercial electrical systems, utility interconnection processes, and permitting requirements
- Solid understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and tools
- Familiarity with electrical design, codes, and regulations (e.g., NEC, IEC)
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines
