About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the primary job-site supervisor with operational responsibility for employees involved in electrical system installation, alteration, addition, and repair
- Supervise all FSG Construction field trades on an electrical construction project
- Perform working estimates and take-offs jointly with the Project Manager
- Lay out work for subordinate supervisors and lead persons
- Coordinate materials, tools, equipment, information, and manpower with the Project Manager
- Establish work schedules and man-loading charts
- Interface with General Contractor representatives on daily scheduling and project performance
- Supervise installation of electrical feeders, pumps, motors, generators, switchgear, relays, circuit breaker panels, lighting fixtures, outlets, connections, and terminations
- Monitor work, direct supervisors and crews, and schedule work according to job pace and other trades
- Perform supervised work for production or instruction when needed
- Handle or oversee office correspondence and administrative paperwork, including official forms, daily reports, time sheets/tickets, and safety reports
- Be responsible for overall project safety performance and employee training
- Assure compliance with FSG safety processes and protocols
- Investigate or assist with investigation and reporting of job-site accidents and safety incidents
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma at minimum
- Must possess all skills of lower rated positions including Foreman, Journeyman, A4, E4
- Current State Journeymans or Masters Electrical License and Expiration Date
- Valid Driver's License
- 6 years or more of commercial/industrial electrical experience
- Must be able to pass a drug and background screen
- Must be able to fulfill physical job requirements including lifting more than 50 lbs, lifting, squatting, crouching, kneeling, balancing, climbing, and pushing/pulling body weight
- OSHA 30 Certification at minimum and/or able to obtain it within 30 days of hire
- Proficiency with computer, tablet, and smartphone
