About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist in developing project plans, timelines, and budgets with the senior project manager.
- Coordinate project activities, resources, and stakeholders to meet milestones.
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, technicians, procurement, and logistics teams.
- Monitor project costs and expenditures against approved budgets.
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, financial reports, progress reports, status updates, and project documentation.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize project spending.
- Maintain project plans, schedules, contracts, and change orders.
- Contribute to risk assessment, mitigation plans, inspections, testing, and commissioning.
- Establish communication channels and communicate project status, changes, and risks.
- Facilitate meetings, agendas, minutes, and action-item tracking.
- Support quality assurance processes and compliance with codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Address project non-conformities and customer complaints with the senior project manager.
- Coordinate and allocate labor, materials, and equipment; monitor resource utilization.
- Promote site safety, identify and mitigate hazards, and follow safety procedures.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Relevant work experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and construction practices.
- Familiarity with project management principles, tools, and methodologies.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
