About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Supervise and run crews involved in the installation or repair of electrical systems
  • Serve as the primary jobsite supervisor on smaller construction projects
  • Be responsible for all FSG Electric field trades on an electrical construction crew or project
  • Perform working estimates and take-offs jointly with the Project Manager
  • Lay out work for subordinate lead persons and coordinate materials, tools, equipment, information, and manpower
  • Establish work schedules and man-loading charts
  • Direct crews in installing electrical feeders, pumps, motors, generators, switchgear, relays, circuit breaker panels, lighting fixtures, outlets, and related connections and terminations
  • Monitor work, direct subordinate crews, and schedule work according to job pace and other trades
  • Perform supervised work for production or instruction
  • Handle or oversee office correspondence and administrative paperwork, including official forms, daily reports, time sheets/tickets, and safety reports
  • Manage crew or project safety performance and ensure employee training and compliance with FSG Electric safety processes and protocols
  • Investigate or assist with investigating and reporting jobsite accidents or safety incidents

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Ability to multitask while staying organized
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Positive customer service skills
  • Experience in crew leading and or acting as foreman on new ground-up construction projects
  • Experience in lighting a plus!
