About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Supervise and run crews involved in the installation or repair of electrical systems
- Serve as the primary jobsite supervisor on smaller construction projects
- Be responsible for all FSG Electric field trades on an electrical construction crew or project
- Perform working estimates and take-offs jointly with the Project Manager
- Lay out work for subordinate lead persons and coordinate materials, tools, equipment, information, and manpower
- Establish work schedules and man-loading charts
- Direct crews in installing electrical feeders, pumps, motors, generators, switchgear, relays, circuit breaker panels, lighting fixtures, outlets, and related connections and terminations
- Monitor work, direct subordinate crews, and schedule work according to job pace and other trades
- Perform supervised work for production or instruction
- Handle or oversee office correspondence and administrative paperwork, including official forms, daily reports, time sheets/tickets, and safety reports
- Manage crew or project safety performance and ensure employee training and compliance with FSG Electric safety processes and protocols
- Investigate or assist with investigating and reporting jobsite accidents or safety incidents
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or General Education Degree
- Valid Drivers License
- Ability to multitask while staying organized
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Positive customer service skills
- Experience in crew leading and or acting as foreman on new ground-up construction projects
- Experience in lighting a plus!
