About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Supervise and run crews involved in the installation or repair of electrical systems
Serve as the primary jobsite supervisor on smaller construction projects
Be responsible for all FSG Electric field trades on an electrical construction crew or project
Perform working estimates and take-offs jointly with the Project Manager
Lay out work for subordinate lead persons and coordinate materials, tools, equipment, information, and manpower
Establish work schedules and man-loading charts
Direct crews in installing electrical feeders, pumps, motors, generators, switchgear, relays, circuit breaker panels, lighting fixtures, outlets, and related connections and terminations
Monitor work, direct subordinate crews, and schedule work according to job pace and other trades
Perform supervised work for production or instruction
Handle or oversee office correspondence and administrative paperwork, including official forms, daily reports, time sheets/tickets, and safety reports
Manage crew or project safety performance and ensure employee training and compliance with FSG Electric safety processes and protocols
Investigate or assist with investigating and reporting jobsite accidents or safety incidents

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School Diploma or General Education Degree
Valid Drivers License
Ability to multitask while staying organized
Strong verbal and written communications skills
Positive customer service skills
Experience in crew leading and or acting as foreman on new ground-up construction projects
Experience in lighting a plus!
