About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Install lighting fixtures, lamps, ballasts, controls, or other items associated with lighting systems
- Work in a safe manner so as not to damage or disturb customer's facilities
- Work from ladders, scaffolds, or roofs to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures
- Perform physically demanding tasks while conveying knowledge of basic/specialized tools and equipment throughout the service job/work order process
- Must understand and conform to Government/Local regulations and ordinances as well as any/all required Safety Guidelines
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or General Education Degree
- At least 2-4 years of lighting and electrical experience
- Preferably, candidates with an NRLT designation (Non-residential Lighting Technician)
- Lighting and retrofit experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license
- Willingness to travel
- Must be reliable
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Positive customer service skills
