Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for installing and maintaining security systems
Install Access Control Panels & Systems
Install various access control devices
Install cable pathway systems (cable trays, cable racks, J-hooks or D-rings)
Install, terminate, test, label and document horizontal, backbone and other cables
Dress and route cable into closets and control rooms
Perform other duties as required
Fire stop various types of cable penetrations

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School Diploma or commensurate experience
Associate’s Degree preferred
One year experience in Access Control, CCTV and Alarm Systems
Must be proficient in DSX Access Systems
PC Proficient
Valid Driver’s License
Must be able to pass drug and background screens
Ability to obtain Texas DPS Private Security License
Manufacturer training preferred
OSHA preferred
