Implement real-time object detection for job-site cameras to ensure crews are following OSHA electrical safety protocols and wearing proper Arc Flash protection.
Build a recommendation engine to optimize the timing of copper and bulk material purchases based on market price fluctuations and project timelines.

What you’ll need

Current Student: Junior or Senior pursuing a degree in CS, Data Science, or Electrical Engineering with a heavy focus on AI.
Python Expert: Ability to write clean, production-ready Python code.
The AI Toolkit: Familiarity with OpenCV (for blueprint analysis), Pandas (for labor data), and frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
Physical Context: A basic understanding of electrical systems (circuits, panels, voltage) is a major plus. You must be comfortable visiting active construction sites to collect training data.
