About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage and scale the Planning Leadership Team, coaching them to be world-class developers of talent who master the human elements of advice.
Serve as the VP’s operational proxy, leading the management layer independently and making high-stakes tactical decisions.
Own the delivery of core metrics – pod NPS, planner capacity, and member action on advice – across a large, scaling workforce, ensuring high volume never dilutes quality.
Lead the organization through the transition from tech proficiency to AI fluency.
Drive functional alignment to ensure all members have a high quality experience at every touchpoint.
Translate complex business strategies into an inspiring "why" that drives organizational action and talent growth.

Requirements

What you’ll need

CFP® Designation (Required).
12+ years of experience in financial planning or related services; direct experience as a financial planner required.
5+ years of "manager of managers" experience
Exceptional strategic thinking, communication, emotional intelligence, and complex problem solving skills
Proven track record of leading large organizations (50+) through rapid growth and change.
FinTech experience is a plus, but not a requirement.
Deep expertise and/or experience in specialized advice (e.g. tax, estate planning, insurance) is a plus, but not a requirement.
