About the role

  • Lead and manage staff to execute projects involving in-water structures, shoreline access systems, and waterfront site developments.
  • Coordinate daily with clients, contractors, and government reviewers to ensure project alignment and compliance.
  • Assign tasks and oversee team workflows to meet project milestones and deliverables.
  • Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure financial accountability.
  • Utilize engineering software, including AutoCAD, Enercalc, Risa 3D, and L-Pile, for analysis and design.
  • Prepare and revise contract addendums to reflect scope changes and client requirements.
  • Conduct site assessments and assist in evaluating environmental and structural challenges related to marine infrastructure.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards, codes, and best practices in marine engineering projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marine engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ year of marine engineering experience
  • Licensed Professional Engineer
  • Strong background in steel design, concrete design, and fluid mechanics
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Enercalc, Risa 3D, and/or L-Pile
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong leadership, project management, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
