About the role
- Lead and manage staff to execute projects involving in-water structures, shoreline access systems, and waterfront site developments.
- Coordinate daily with clients, contractors, and government reviewers to ensure project alignment and compliance.
- Assign tasks and oversee team workflows to meet project milestones and deliverables.
- Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure financial accountability.
- Utilize engineering software, including AutoCAD, Enercalc, Risa 3D, and L-Pile, for analysis and design.
- Prepare and revise contract addendums to reflect scope changes and client requirements.
- Conduct site assessments and assist in evaluating environmental and structural challenges related to marine infrastructure.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards, codes, and best practices in marine engineering projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marine engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ year of marine engineering experience
- Licensed Professional Engineer
- Strong background in steel design, concrete design, and fluid mechanics
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Enercalc, Risa 3D, and/or L-Pile
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
- Strong leadership, project management, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
