About the role
- Independent design, engineering and testing of complex protection systems
Requirements
- Degree in electrical engineering or a qualified technical engineer
- Prior knowledge or experience with medium- and high-voltage switchgear, particularly protection principles and machine or network protection technology
- Experience in network calculations and in designing protection concepts and settings/parameters
- Understanding of power networks and circuit configurations
- Fluent written and spoken German
- Technical and interpersonal skills for problem solving and an independent working style
- Class B driver’s license and willingness to travel for work (up to 30%)
- Experience with protection relays and test systems, e.g., SIPROTEC / OMICRON (advantageous)
- Minimum of 3 years’ professional experience in protection engineering
