About the role

  • Facilitate Scrum events (Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective)
  • Track and monitor agile metrics
  • Remove impediments that may impact Sprint delivery
  • Ensure adherence to agile values and practices, promoting continuous improvement within the team
  • Act as a mediator in situations of conflict and misalignment within the team
  • Assist the Product Owner in managing the Product Backlog and prioritizing work items
  • Shield the team from external interruptions that could compromise Sprint progress
  • Foster a learning culture and process improvement within the team
  • Support the team in resolving critical issues during the Sprint.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Scrum Master
  • Knowledge of the Scrum framework and agile methodologies
  • Ability to facilitate Scrum ceremonies and promote team collaboration
  • Familiarity with agile metrics such as Velocity, Burndown/Burnup, Lead Time, and Cycle Time
  • Ability to remove impediments and handle conflicts effectively
  • Experience with agile project management tools
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Ability to work independently and guide the team to achieve its goals
  • Preferred: Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent)
  • Experience in mobile app development or digital product environments
  • Knowledge of frameworks complementary to Scrum, such as Kanban and SAFe
  • Experience in development environments with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD)
  • Ability to work with stakeholders and influence strategic decisions
