About the role
- Maintain and adapt the architecture and monitor the evolution of software and components to ensure continuity of vendor support
- Perform change, incident, and problem management activities within an ITIL framework
- Produce and maintain usage reports and metrics
- Plan, install, configure, and deploy associated hardware and software
- Analyze and provide recommendations to optimize existing methods and processes
- Research, identify, recommend, and implement preventive and corrective maintenance as well as new software versions
- Develop or maintain local customizations required to meet specific client and end-user needs
- Promote changes across different environments
- Create and update documentation (technical, operational, etc.)
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Practical knowledge and hands-on experience with Oracle databases, minimum five (5) years
- Practical experience with Oracle Designer, Oracle Developer, and Oracle Discoverer, minimum three (3) years
- Practical experience with Linux, minimum three (3) years
- Practical experience with capacity and performance management tools for Oracle environments, minimum three (3) years
- Practical experience in network security for Oracle environments, minimum three (3) years
- Practical experience with Windows Server operating systems (2012, 2019, 2022 or newer) and Windows 11, including registry administration, minimum three (3) years
- Practical experience with high-availability technologies (RAC), database mirroring and replication for Oracle products, minimum two (2) years
- Oracle 12c and/or 19c OCP (Oracle Certified Professional) certification
