About the role
- z/OS technical support (mainframe)
- CICS technical support (mainframe)
- Technical support for add-on software upgrades (mainframe)
- IDMS DBA and IDMS technical support (mainframe)
- Support for operations processes and production deployments (mainframe)
- Administration of the master data dictionary for all databases, IDMS Data Dictionary
- Support for functional and business analysts as well as programmers in using IDMS databases and specialized tools (IDMS Online Query, IDMS SQL, IDMS UCV, ADS ONLINE)
Requirements
- College diploma (DEC) in Computer Science or equivalent
- Knowledge and hands-on experience in an IBM mainframe environment, minimum of five (5) years
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with JCL, JES and SDSF, minimum of five (5) years
- Knowledge and hands-on experience in database administration, minimum of five (5) years
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with backup and recovery procedures, minimum of four (4) years
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with production deployment procedures, minimum of four (4) years
- Hands-on experience administering databases with IDMS DB, minimum of three (3) years
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with IDMS/SQL functionality, minimum of one (1) year
