Key responsibilities & impact

Analyze, challenge and clarify business and customer requirements
Define concepts and manage planning for preliminary analysis and design phases
Perform functional analysis of information systems
Translate business needs into detailed functional designs
Develop functional specifications and requirements for customer needs
Work closely with development teams through development, testing and production
Support changes, enhancements and new functionalities through production
Recommend and implement system enhancements and improvements
Analyze service requests and assess feasibility, technological changes, resources and timelines
Support system upgrades and resolve issues related to existing applications
Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to align solutions with business objectives
Maintain functional documentation and document requirements and system changes

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a similar field
At least 5 years of relevant experience as a Functional Analyst or in a similar role
Proven experience in functional analysis and functional design of information systems
Strong experience working with Agile methodologies
Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills
Experience working with business stakeholders and technical/development teams
Good understanding of software development processes and IT environments
Experience with SQL/DQL
Knowledge of DB2, MySQL and PostgreSQL databases
Familiarity with JSON / JavaScript Object Notation
Experience with Jira and Confluence
Dutch, French and English (trilingual)
