About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead end-to-end design and development of Python-based enterprise solutions
Provide technical leadership across the software development lifecycle
Design scalable, secure, and maintainable application architectures
Lead technical discussions with customers and internal stakeholders
Review code, enforce development standards, and ensure high-quality deliverables
Prepare technical estimates, project plans, and solution approaches for fixed-price projects
Guide development teams in resolving complex technical challenges
Collaborate with DevOps, QA, Product Owners, and Project Managers for successful project delivery
Mentor engineers and support capability building within the organization
Ensure adherence to security, performance, and coding best practices

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
Strong expertise in Python
Experience with FastAPI, Django, or Flask
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
Knowledge of asynchronous programming and distributed systems
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Git, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
Familiarity with messaging platforms such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
Experience with automated testing frameworks and code quality tools
At least 8 years of software development experience; posting states 8–12 years
At least 2 years leading technical teams; posting states 2–3 years
Mandatory experience in IT Services organizations
Demonstrated success delivering fixed-cost/fixed-bid software projects
Strong solution design and architecture capabilities
Experience interacting with enterprise customers
Banking or Financial Services project experience highly preferred
Strong technical decision-making ability
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Leadership and mentoring capabilities
Customer-centric mindset
Ability to balance technical excellence with delivery commitments
Strong ownership, accountability, and execution focus
