About the role

  • Supporting a team of Systems Engineers and training team specialists working on Marine Simulation/Training Equipment
  • Work as a member of the wider team responsible for the analysis, design, maintenance, review and production of DSAT Documentation & processes for our Customer’s training sites and organisations
  • Interviewing subject matter experts to collate required data, participate in internal workshops to discuss and agree findings from analysis
  • Work with the customer and the customer’s agents and suppliers to identify technical data required for courseware and media development and also external routes to obtain the data
  • Work with the courseware and media content developers to contextualise training and language and ensure correct conditions and standards are applied to the training solution
  • Conduct the upkeep, update and revalidation of course technical data
  • Identify where training methods and media currently in use in the Customer may be exploited to better develop and deliver the Programme’s courseware
  • Be ‘Responsible for championing and fostering a culture of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) compliance and continuous improvement
  • Any other duties required to complete the CMDC Training Service

Requirements

  • Foundation Degree in Engineering or similar scientific based qualification
  • Proven at sea experience as a CAT A2 Nuclear watchkeeper
  • Experience with training needs analysis
  • Experience as a trainer
  • Training Design Experience
  • Extensive experience in MESM role PWR 2. Fwd ME duties.
  • Training requirements, design or delivery.
  • Member of the Boat Build Crew DE&S/SDA
