About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Update SIMPACK models according to current modeling rules
- Perform railway dynamics simulations in compliance with the project's calculation standards and methodologies
- Conduct APTA, Y/Q and MCAT calculations to ensure conformity with project requirements
- Study the roll behavior of railway vehicles
- Prepare associated technical documentation and present findings to project teams and stakeholders
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree from an engineering school or equivalent with a specialization in mechanical engineering, structural dynamics or railway systems
- Minimum 3 years' experience in similar roles
- Proficiency in SIMPACK or an equivalent multibody simulation (MBS) software
- Strong analytical skills, rigor and good interpersonal skills
- Technical proficiency in English
