About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts within the Automotive, Railway, Aerospace, Military and Defence industries
  • Develop trusted relationships with engineering, procurement and executive stakeholders
  • Understand clients' business challenges and identify opportunities to expand Expleo's engineering service offering
  • Build and execute strategic account development plans
  • Lead commercial negotiations and contract renewals
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships
  • Identify, prospect and acquire new customers within the Engineering market
  • Develop and execute a business development strategy aligned with the company's growth objectives
  • Build a strong sales pipeline through networking, referrals, industry events and market intelligence
  • Lead the full sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification through proposal, negotiation and contract signature
  • Collaborate closely with recruitment and engineering delivery teams to match customer requirements with the right technical expertise
  • Manage forecasts, sales reporting and CRM activities
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer needs to identify new growth opportunities
  • Work closely with Engineering Managers, Recruitment, Delivery Managers and HR to ensure successful project execution

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Engineering or related field
  • Strong negotiation, communication and presentation skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to developing new business
  • Ability to build relationships at all organizational levels, from engineering teams to executive management
  • Proven experience in B2B sales within engineering services, technical consulting or staffing
  • Strong knowledge of Automotive, Railway, Aerospace, Military & Defence sectors
  • Demonstrated success in both account management and new business acquisition
  • Experience selling engineering consultancy, project services or technical staffing solutions highly desirable
  • Fluent in English and French; professional Dutch is a plus
