Business Development Manager – Engineering Division, Automotive, Rail, Aerospace & Defense
Expleo GroupSales Manager to expand Expleo's Engineering Division in Automotive, Rail, Aerospace & Defense sectors. Managing strategic clients and developing new business opportunities with a dynamic team in Belgium.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts within the Automotive, Railway, Aerospace, Military and Defence industries
- Develop trusted relationships with engineering, procurement and executive stakeholders
- Understand clients' business challenges and identify opportunities to expand Expleo's engineering service offering
- Build and execute strategic account development plans
- Lead commercial negotiations and contract renewals
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships
- Identify, prospect and acquire new customers within the Engineering market
- Develop and execute a business development strategy aligned with the company's growth objectives
- Build a strong sales pipeline through networking, referrals, industry events and market intelligence
- Lead the full sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification through proposal, negotiation and contract signature
- Collaborate closely with recruitment and engineering delivery teams to match customer requirements with the right technical expertise
- Manage forecasts, sales reporting and CRM activities
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer needs to identify new growth opportunities
- Work closely with Engineering Managers, Recruitment, Delivery Managers and HR to ensure successful project execution
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Engineering or related field
- Strong negotiation, communication and presentation skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to developing new business
- Ability to build relationships at all organizational levels, from engineering teams to executive management
- Proven experience in B2B sales within engineering services, technical consulting or staffing
- Strong knowledge of Automotive, Railway, Aerospace, Military & Defence sectors
- Demonstrated success in both account management and new business acquisition
- Experience selling engineering consultancy, project services or technical staffing solutions highly desirable
- Fluent in English and French; professional Dutch is a plus
