SAP Finance SME, Subject Matter Expert

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Act as the primary functional expert for SAP Finance processes and solutions.
- Lead workshops to gather business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
- Support SAP S/4HANA Finance implementations, upgrades, and transformation programmes.
- Configure and support key finance modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, and Controlling.
- Provide guidance on financial reporting, period-end close, and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with technical teams on integrations, testing, and data migration activities.
- Support user training, change management, and post-go-live activities.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of SAP Finance consulting or SME experience
- Strong knowledge of SAP FI/CO and SAP S/4HANA Finance
- Experience in finance transformation, process improvement, and system implementation projects
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, and reporting requirements
- Experience facilitating workshops and engaging with senior finance stakeholders.
