About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support digital investigations with legal and regulatory relevance
- Conduct digital forensic investigations in compliance, whistleblowing, and economic crime cases
- Preserve and analyze electronic evidence (eDiscovery, audit logs, cloud, host, and network data)
- Support investigations of IT security incidents and perform root cause analyses
- Prepare forensic reports, technical opinions, and investigation findings
- Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Data Protection, and Incident Response teams
- Develop and improve forensic readiness and analysis processes
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 3 years of experience in digital forensics and evidence preservation
- Experience with eDiscovery, audit logs, EDR, SIEM, cloud, and network forensics
- Knowledge of regulatory and legal requirements (data protection, compliance, reporting obligations)
- Experience collaborating with legal, compliance, or investigative authorities
- Excellent German and English language skills, written and spoken
- Preferred: certifications such as GCFA, GCIH, EnCE, CISSP, or CIPP/E
- Experience with automation and scripting (Python, PowerShell)
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or an equivalent qualification
