About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support manufacturing and engineering teams across the full project lifecycle
- Assist in the creation and modification of engineering drawings and CAD models
- Contribute to production and process improvement activities
- Support testing, validation, and quality checks
- Work closely with different teams to understand how engineering projects are delivered
- Learn and apply engineering standards, safety procedures, and best practices
- Build an understanding of how Expleo supports its clients
Requirements
What you’ll need- Predicted GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English at Grade 5 or above
- Science is highly desirable
- Commitment to completing a Level 3 Manufacturing Engineering Apprenticeship
- Attendance at Blackpool & The Fylde College (1 day per week) alongside 4 days based in Preston
- Any exposure to engineering, design, or technical subjects or work experience whilst at school
- Interest in how things are made or work
- Hands-on project experience (school or personal projects)
