Designer

• Carry out detailed engineering design activities for marine HVAC systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Prepare and produce HVAC marine drawing deliverables to required standards and within budget/schedule (create drawings, bill of materials, incorporate changes, up-revision of drawings)
• Create 3D CAD models and utilise them to generate 2D production outputs and additional deliverables (BoM/CADCAM data)
• Perform self-verification of work and identify errors and omissions conflicting with specifications
• Liaise with colleagues and stakeholders during design phases to ensure coordination and functionality
• Provide solutions to manufacturing and installation issues and assist in resolving technical and production queries
• Report technical progress and issues to line management and participate in design reviews
• Ensure safety, health and environmental requirements are implemented and assist in maintaining quality standards
• Act effectively as Discipline SQEP (Suitably qualified and experienced personnel)
