About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Supporting a team of Systems Engineers and training team specialists working on Marine Simulation/Training Equipment
Work as a member of the wider team responsible for the analysis, design, maintenance, review and production of DSAT Documentation & processes for our Customer’s training sites and organisations
Interviewing subject matter experts to collate required data, participate in internal workshops to discuss and agree findings from analysis
Work with the customer and the customer’s agents and suppliers to identify technical data required for courseware and media development and also external routes to obtain the data
Work with the courseware and media content developers to contextualise training and language and ensure correct conditions and standards are applied to the training solution
Conduct the upkeep, update and revalidation of course technical data
Identify where training methods and media currently in use in the Customer may be exploited to better develop and deliver the Programme’s courseware
Be 'Responsible for championing and fostering a culture of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) compliance and continuous improvement
Any other duties required to complete the CMDC Training Service

Requirements

What you’ll need

Foundation Degree in Engineering or similar scientific based qualification
Proven at sea experience as a CAT A2 Nuclear watchkeeper
A High Experienced Cat B Nuclear Watchkeeper will be considered
Experience with training needs analysis
Experience as a trainer
Training Design Experience
Extensive experience in MESM role PWR 2
Fwd ME duties
Training requirements, design or delivery
Member of the Boat Build Crew DE&S/SDA
You will need to hold or be eligible to qualify for SC
