Senior Sales Manager

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and execute a sales strategy for the Italian market, aligned with regional commercial goals.
- Identify new business opportunities and drive full-cycle sales: prospecting, qualifying, proposing, negotiating, and closing.
- Build and maintain senior-level relationships with clients, decision-makers, and industry stakeholders.
- Lead proposal development, pricing strategies, RFP responses, and contract discussions.
- Collaborate with bid, marketing, and technical teams to maximize sales effectiveness.
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline with accurate forecasting and reporting.
- Represent Expleo at client meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities.
- Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer needs to refine sales approaches.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Management, or related field.
- 8–12+ years of experience in senior sales roles within engineering services, consulting, automotive, aerospace, manufacturing, technology, or similar industries.
- Proven track record of sales success and revenue generation.
- Experience selling high-value services in complex, matrix environments.
