About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks for UI, API, Mobile, and Mainframe testing
  • Collaborate closely with developers and business stakeholders to define, review, and refine test cases and Gherkin feature files
  • Implement reusable utility methods and modular step definitions to promote scalability and maintainability
  • Develop, execute, debug, and analyze automated test scripts to ensure quality and stability
  • Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub and Jenkins
  • Analyze automation test results, identify defects, log issues, and follow through with development teams to closure
  • Manage test data and environment configurations to ensure consistent and reliable test execution
  • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 7+ years of experience in automation testing
  • Strong hands-on expertise in Selenium, RestAssured and Appium with JAVA
  • Additional experience with Node.js-based automation frameworks such as WebDriverIO and Axios
  • Solid understanding of BDD using Cucumber, TestNG, Git, and Maven
  • Experience integrating automation with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and generating reports using Extent and Allure
  • Good knowledge of Agile methodologies and QE best practices
  • Strong analytical and technical documentation skills
  • Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms such as Lambda Test and Sauce Labs
  • Nice to have experience with performance testing tools like JMeter
  • Basic knowledge of SQL CRUD operations and experience working with Mainframe terminal screens
