About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Define and manage platform architecture, ensuring scalability, modularity, and reusability
Align platform strategy with product roadmap, performance, cost, and quality targets
Oversee integration of systems and components (BIW, powertrain interfaces, chassis, interior/exterior) at platform level
Ensure platform compliance with regulatory requirements and internal engineering standards
Drive cross-functional collaboration with engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, and product management teams
Manage technical risks, dependencies, and change requests at platform level
Monitor and control KPIs related to platform performance (cost efficiency, weight, timing, quality)
Support decision-making for platform evolution, technology adoption, and innovation
Ensure effective configuration management and lifecycle tracking through PLM systems
Guide teams during industrialization and ensure smooth transition from development to production

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Systems Engineering, or a related field
Previous experience in automotive engineering, with exposure to vehicle architecture or platform development is an advantage
Understanding of full vehicle development lifecycle and system integration
Experience with systems engineering principles and architecture definition, with engineering processes and standards (APQP, DFMEA, configuration management)
Knowledge of CAD tools (CATIA V5/V6, NX) and PLM systems (ENOVIA, Teamcenter)
Ability to manage complexity, dependencies, and trade-offs across systems
Excellent communication and alignment skills in an international environment
Strategic mindset with focus on scalability, efficiency, and long-term platform evolution
