About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Establish and monitor schedule-definition processes to ensure A220 Customer Support projects are completed successfully
  • Build strong relationships with the A220 Customer Support business units (BUs) to develop a deep understanding of departmental priorities
  • Support the program support team in project management of in-service aircraft issues, particularly coordinating internal and external activities among the various A220 Customer Support BUs
  • Manage projects under your supervision using project management best practices (including LBIP), including establishing required planning, tracking it, and managing interdependencies within your project and with others
  • Be responsible for using project management software tools (Planisware) and techniques to create, maintain/update, and control project schedules
  • Monitor project progress, update schedules as needed, and communicate with stakeholders to ensure projects stay on track
  • Maintain schedule control by helping the project team manage schedule changes, including baseline change control
  • Implement dashboards necessary to track progress of project deliverables and related KPIs
  • Plan the right resources at the right times in the project while considering the operational realities of the deliverables
  • Optimize project efficiency, resource allocation, and overall project success
  • Implement required cost tracking for the projects under your responsibility and ensure its maintenance
  • Contribute to financial exercises and perform required follow-ups

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Aeronautical Engineering, Project Management) or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in program management or project leadership in a technical or aerospace environment
  • Proficient with scheduling tools (MS Project, Planisware) and project management methodologies, including Agile (PMP certification is an asset)
  • Known for proactivity and rigor, you demonstrate a high level of commitment and strong sense of responsibility, and are eager to share your expertise with colleagues
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, maintaining professional integrity and a customer-focused mindset
  • Required language: French
