Key responsibilities & impact

Monitor and oversee the qualification of processes related to fastening/riveting assembly operations for aeronautical structures
Develop new inspection and control methods for the installation of aeronautical fasteners
Implement and develop these systems as part of factory support
Provide your technical expertise on topics related to the installation of bolted components (analysis of installation results on test benches, analysis of torque curves from pneumatic tools, etc.)
Prepare study and/or test reports associated with the projects listed above
Draft material and process qualification specifications

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master's degree or engineering degree (Bac +5) with a specialization in assemblies applied to aeronautical structures
At least 1 year of significant experience in a design/engineering office
Knowledge of bolting/fastening and riveting systems (screws, nuts, tightening torque, galvanic compatibility, etc.)
Main installation processes for fastening elements (screwing, punching, pull-in installation, pull-stem installation, etc.)
Secondary repair processes (oversizing, etc.)
Analysis of metallographic cross-section results to verify installation in different assemblies and to assess fit-up validity
Technical documentation related to qualifications (technical specifications, material and/or process data sheets, AIPS, AIMS, etc.)
Fluent English (all study reports and write-ups are produced in English)
Recognized for strong interpersonal skills, rigor, autonomy and the ability to work in a team
