About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Within the Manufacturing Engineering department, attached to the Toulouse office, you will serve as Substance Management Engineer (m/f).
  • As a project coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating both the monitoring of the management system for substances, mixtures and articles, and the related improvement projects as part of the deployment of sustainable technical solutions aimed at addressing the challenges of significant and increasing regulatory pressure.
  • Provide support for all projects related to the substances, mixtures and articles management tool, particularly within the REACH/CLP scope.
  • Coordinate the monitoring of improvement projects in which the tool is involved.
  • Define effective cross-functional governance: identification of stakeholders (responsibilities, interactions), organization, definition of WBS/OBS/scheduling.
  • Coordinate and drive activities according to Quality, Cost, Schedule, Safety, Security and Performance requirements: action tracking, cost monitoring, communication, reporting to management, meeting minutes.
  • Support the monitoring of the substances, mixtures and articles portfolio evolution and maintain data quality.
  • Handle technical regulatory matters (regulatory expertise, training and awareness, communication and support for the environment/regulatory compliance/health & safety teams).

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Engineering degree or a university master's degree with a specialization in Environmental Sciences and/or Chemistry.
  • Minimum of 3 years' proven experience in coordinating cross-functional projects in a regulatory compliance context and information digitization.
  • Proficient written and spoken English (minimum B2 level).
  • Diplomatic and proactive, you have strong interpersonal skills and adapt easily to different stakeholders.
  • You enjoy collaborative projects, seek consensus and are able to unite teams around a common goal.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements (REACH, etc.) is a prerequisite for this position.
