Key responsibilities & impact

Overall responsibility for all test phases and testing activities, including planning, control, and evaluation
Development and documentation of test strategies and test concepts in close coordination with all relevant stakeholders
Participation in defining project scope, timelines, and risk assessments
Estimation of effort and resources within the testing domain
Leadership and coordination of test teams and management of test execution
Responsibility for defect management and follow-up on bug fixes
Preparation and presentation of test reports and status updates for internal and external stakeholders
Identification and assessment of risks in the testing process and derivation of appropriate countermeasures
Support for pre-sales activities and participation in proposal processes
Continuous improvement of testing methods, processes, and tools
Active sharing of best practices and knowledge within the team

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Software Engineering, or a comparable qualification
Fluent German (business fluent) and fluent English, with experience using both languages in client-facing contexts
Experience with Guidewire or msg Life
Several years of experience in test coordination, test management, and defect management
Knowledge of agile methodologies and/or traditional project delivery models
Solid expertise in test strategy, test design, and ISTQB-based approaches
Confident use of various test management tools
Experience applying modern AI tools in the testing domain and a desire to deepen this expertise
