About the role
- Develop and verify technical solutions in line with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
- Investigate technical issues and contribute to continuous improvement and design optimisation
- Collaborate with internal teams, customers, and suppliers to define requirements and ensure successful delivery
- Support project execution across design, testing, installation, and commissioning phases
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers where required
- Contribute to a strong culture of engineering excellence, safety, and continuous improvement
Requirements
- Degree (or equivalent experience) in Electrical Engineering, Control & Instrumentation, Electronics, or a related field
- Professional registration (e.g. Chartered Engineer) or working towards accreditation is desirable
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders
- Exposure to installation, testing, or commissioning environments
- Background in electrical, control systems, instrumentation, or related engineering disciplines
- Understanding of control systems and electronic (analogue and/or digital) principles.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Willingness to travel to sites or support on-site activities when required
- Ability to meet any applicable compliance or regulatory requirements
- Experience working in multidisciplinary engineering teams across a range of projects
- Experience contributing to system design, integration, or support activities
