About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and verify technical solutions in line with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
  • Investigate technical issues and contribute to continuous improvement and design optimisation
  • Collaborate with internal teams, customers, and suppliers to define requirements and ensure successful delivery
  • Support project execution across design, testing, installation, and commissioning phases
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers where required
  • Contribute to a strong culture of engineering excellence, safety, and continuous improvement

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree (or equivalent experience) in Electrical Engineering, Control & Instrumentation, Electronics, or a related field
  • Professional registration (e.g. Chartered Engineer) or working towards accreditation is desirable
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders
  • Exposure to installation, testing, or commissioning environments
  • Background in electrical, control systems, instrumentation, or related engineering disciplines
  • Understanding of control systems and electronic (analogue and/or digital) principles.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Willingness to travel to sites or support on-site activities when required
  • Ability to meet any applicable compliance or regulatory requirements
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary engineering teams across a range of projects
  • Experience contributing to system design, integration, or support activities
