Analyse and interpret complex data sets to drive business insights and decision-making
Develop and maintain SQL queries and Python scripts to automate data processing and analysis
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights
Provide rapid response to emerging in-service issues
Develop and implement new analytics or reconfigure existing live techniques and data streams to provide ongoing in-service containment at an asset or fleet level
Take ownership of critical data projects and drive business insights
Work with Azure cloud-based data platforms and advanced data analysis tools
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Aero Engineering or a related field
Relevant certifications in data analysis or related areas are a plus
Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation
Strong experience with Python for data analysis and automation
Knowledge of statistical analysis
Familiarity with Azure cloud-based data platforms
Strong IT user & configuration skills (Python, MATLAB, SQL and Azure Platform)
Solid understanding of data analysis techniques and tools
Numerate, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Experience in a data focused role (Engine Health Monitoring, Engine Performance, service engineering or product support) preferred but not necessary
Languages required: English essential
