Carrying out design analysis, create and approve design dispositions for A350 fuselage detail & assembly manufacturing non-conformances, assessing different repair scenarios for fit, form and function.
Processing and approval (T200) of detail and sub assembly concessions from Kinston manufacturing site and St. Nazaire Pre-FAL (Final Assembly Line) and compiling / approving a suitable design disposition and supporting informative documents.
Liaising with specialist tasks as required (e.g. M & P, aero, Pre-FAL, FAL, etc.)
Ability to identify the most efficient methods for analysis whilst ensuring adherence to relevant airworthiness and customer procedural requirements.
Liaise with multiple functions (e.g. T400 approvers) to ensure most appropriate design solution is met with consideration to cost, time, performance and installation requirements.
Explain and escalate critical issues and mentor others.
Requirements
BE MECH/ AEROSPACE
Experience 8-12 Years
Experience working on Airbus concessions either directly for Airbus or the Supply Chain, for a minimum of three years and having held a level of delegated technical approval (T200)
Knowledge across the A350 programme, preferably with both metallic and composite fuselage capabilities and the build sequence / process
Understanding of material properties, production & manufacturing methods and practices and their effect on aircraft performance
Knowledge & experience of Airbus concession repair philosophy
Completed SAP PAC Training Course (21 STRU CONCESSION) and proficient at using SAP PAC for concessions processing
Working knowledge of VPM and CATIA V5 for interrogation and drawing / model modification and DMU navigation
A350 PASS Interrogator Experience
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office; experience with SAP, PASS, Adobe Acrobat, ECM, Airbus Supply
