Lead Engineer – Exhaust

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Be the liaison between the engineering teams responsible for the design and development of exhaust systems.
- Utilize CATIA and PLM tools to create and manage detailed designs and documentation.
- Oversee the integration of exhaust systems into vehicle platforms, ensuring compatibility and performance.
- Conduct performance analysis and validation of exhaust systems through simulations and testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones and deliverables are met.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and implement improvements to enhance system performance and efficiency.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
- Communicate project status and technical issues to stakeholders and senior management.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in exhaust system design and development within the automotive industry.
- Proficiency in CATIA and PLM tools.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements for exhaust systems.
- Proven track record of successfully leading engineering projects from inception to completion.
