About the role

  • Ensure certification of aircraft modifications for an aerospace manufacturer (classification, proposal of the applicable certification basis, assessment of the certification strategy, review of Means of Compliance)
  • Manage foreign validation of aircraft modifications, including coordination with EASA, defining requirements and preparing compliance documentation.
  • Manage validation of the manufacturer's aircraft with foreign authorities, including interactions with EASA, preparation of meetings, definition of the certification basis and production of justification documents.
  • Prepare updates to TCDS (Type Certificate Data Sheet) in line with product developments.
  • Monitor ongoing actions with major foreign authorities (FAA, ANAC, TCCA, etc.).
  • Conduct regulatory monitoring: analyze changes to airworthiness certification regulations and assess their impacts and implications for the manufacturer.

Requirements

  • Generalist engineer with a specialization in aeronautics.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in certification or continued airworthiness activities.
  • Professional working proficiency in English: able to speak and write technical English related to aeronautical work.
  • Solid foundational knowledge in aeronautics.
  • Familiar with Part 21 (Airworthiness and Environmental Certification), CS-25 (Certification Specification: Large Aeroplanes), and aeronautical regulations in general.
  • Good interpersonal skills enabling interaction with various stakeholders.
  • Initiative and proactivity are definite assets.
