About the role
- Work with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements
- Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and meetings to understand current and future processes
- Map and model business processes (As-Is and To-Be)
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure requirements are accurately implemented
- Support testing activities by reviewing test cases, validating functionality, and assisting in UAT
- Contribute to project planning, scoping, and prioritisation efforts
- Track and manage change requests and support impact analysis
- Produce clear and concise documentation including BRDs, functional specs, user stories, and process flows
- Act as a liaison between business units and IT throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field
- Certification such as CBAP, CCBA, or PMI-PBA
- Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies (e.g., BABOK, Agile, Waterfall)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with BPMN or UML modeling standards
- Knowledge of project management and software development lifecycles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proven experience in a Business Analyst role
- Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Excel, Visio, JIRA, Confluence, or similar
- Experience documenting requirements, user stories, and process flows
- Experience of working with Flexcube
- Experience with core banking systems
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Experience in change management or process improvement initiatives
- Industry-specific experience (e.g., banking, healthcare, retail)
- Languages required: English essential
