About the role

  • Capture, analyse, and document end‑to‑end payroll requirements, including statutory, regulatory, functional, operational, and integration needs
  • Develop detailed as‑is and to‑be payroll process maps, identifying gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities
  • Support the implementation of a new payroll platform and provider, producing requirements, data definitions, validation rules, and acceptance criteria
  • Facilitate workshops and discussions with payroll SMEs, finance teams, and in‑market stakeholders
  • Ensure payroll requirements are traceable through design, configuration, testing, and deployment
  • Collaborate with the vendor/provider during configuration reviews, functional design walkthroughs, and solution validation
  • Support payroll data migration activities, including mapping, transformation requirements, and reconciliation needs
  • Prepare and maintain high‑quality analysis artefacts including process flows, user stories, test scenarios, and documentation
  • Identify and escalate risks and dependencies associated with payroll timelines, compliance, or solution design

Requirements

  • Relevant third level qualification or equivalent work experience
  • Additional course or certification in Business Analysis
  • Strong capability in requirements engineering, process analysis, and documentation
  • Understanding of end-to-end payroll processes, compliance requirements, and payroll operating models
  • Ability to run workshops and engage with global and local payroll SMEs
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a complex, multi-market programme environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong organisational discipline
  • Direct experience capturing and defining payroll requirements for a payroll transformation or system implementation
  • Hands-on involvement in implementing a new payroll platform and onboarding a new payroll provider (e.g., ADP, SD Worx, Ceridian, NGA/Alight, Workday Payroll)
  • Experience producing payroll process maps, data requirements, and acceptance criteria
  • Previous experience supporting payroll UAT, data migration, reconciliation, or cutover activities is advantageous
  • Experience working in global or multi-country payroll environments is highly desirable
