About the role

  • Assist in the analysis of technical specifications and functional/non-functional requirements of vehicle systems.
  • Participate in the creation and configuration of virtual Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) environments using Simulink models and existing hardware.
  • Contribute to the development of vehicle functionalities in Simulink models (Simulink blocks, Stateflow) under supervision.
  • Configure models according to the Signal List and provided instructions.
  • Execute manual tests on HIL benches according to defined procedures and test plans.
  • Run tests and support validation activities for HIL models.
  • Record test data and document results according to established templates.
  • Identify and document defects and anomalies and escalate them when necessary.
  • Collaborate with software and hardware teams to reproduce issues.
  • Provide basic technical support for users of HIL environments.
  • Participate in review activities and learn modeling and testing best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Transports or another related field.
  • Good communication and adaptability skills.
  • Interest in new technologies and continuous learning.
  • Good knowledge about Communication Protocols used in Automotive (CAN, CAN FD, LIN, Flexray, Ethernet).
  • Basic knowledge about vehicle systems and functionalities, such as Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist, Stop and Start, Door Modules, Lighting, etc.
  • Basic knowledge of Simulink models, blocks, Matlab, Python and C language.
  • Good level of English, both written and spoken.
