About the role

  • Manage the delivery of large end to end programmes of work
  • Direct and manage the full project-life cycle
  • Develop strategies and direct teams on complex programmes of work
  • Facilitate workshops and requirement gathering sessions
  • Ensure project deliverables are completed within agreed cost, timescale, and resource budgets
  • Use project planning tools and participate in the identification of future resource needs
  • Develop a fit-for-purpose reporting mechanism
  • Responsible for overall test plan design and processes
  • Consult with key business stakeholders regarding application design optimization for testability
  • Allocate and coordinate test schedules and manage progress of activities against the plan
  • Provide quality assurance evaluation estimates on various projects
  • Diagnose problems and probe underlying issues

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field, or equivalent work experience
  • ISTQB
  • Project Management qualification (Desirable)
  • Advanced Programming skills
  • Additional course or certification in Quality Assurance (Essential skills)
  • Excellent client-facing skills
  • People management skills
  • Team work and emotional intelligence
  • Good self-management
  • Innovative approach
  • Extensive technical knowledge and experience with complex IT programmes
  • Strong theoretical knowledge in quality assurance methodologies
  • Experience in managing the change control procedure
  • Experience in providing technical management
  • Experience in diagnosing problems using formal problem-solving tools and techniques
